Shawn Barsness is a go-getter with production that speaks for itself (Top 1%) and is focused on the client experience with a transparent, responsive, and communicative process. His individual attention to his client allows for a professional experience in setting goals that align with clear expectations for all the team members that are involved, including clients, agents, appraisers, title, processors, and underwriters. He is the quarterback leading the team to meet closing as expected!

During his tenure, Shawn has closed thousands of loans in a blink of an eye. As a driven leader, he is committed to serving clients, giving to charity, lending a hand to teammates, and being loyal and compassionate while helping others achieve their goals. He views his primary role as educating his clients in integrating their selected competitive mortgage loans into their long-term and short-term financial and investment goals, as well as obtaining their payment equity and cash flow objectives.

With experience that extends to all areas of loan origination, processing, underwriting, approving, and closing loans, Shawn has learned that success comes from staying organized, giving to others, being process-driven, staying focused on daily activities, and maintaining a commitment to learning.

Shawn received a Master’s degree in business finance with a concentration in personal financial planning from Winthrop University and received advanced training in tax, investing, insurance, and real estate law. He is a family man with a wife, daughter, and son, and he enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and fishing. He is someone you can trust and count on.
